Jiangmen Railway Station in Guangdong Province has increased its scheduled daily trains to 131, adding 35 services under a new national railway timetable that took effect on February 2 for the Spring Festival travel rush (chunyun).

The expansion introduces three new direct routes from Jiangmen to Beihai, Nanning East, and Guigang, alongside 15 overnight trains (operating between midnight and 6 a.m.) and 17 additional temporary services to destinations such as Guangzhou South, Zhanjiang West, and Yangjiang.

With the new timetable in effect, Jiangmen Station has added three new originating trains:

Jiangmen → Beihai (D4236)

Jiangmen → Nanning East (D4234)

Jiangmen → Guigang (D4348)

Additionally, 15 overnight trains (0:00–6:00) have been added:

The Spring Festival travel rush generates high demand for routes such as Hong Kong West Kowloon, Chengdu East, and Kunming South, for which tickets are already in short supply. Authorities are using real-time booking data to add extra trains on high-demand routes and encourage travelers to use the official 12306 app for schedule updates and waitlisting.

Due to the high passenger volume, travelers are advised to double-check their ticket details, plan their journeys, and allow sufficient time for urban travel and station security checks. Last-minute travel is discouraged.
