On March 31, Guangzhou Metro Line 22 (first section) started operation. It is one of the fastest metros within the Guangdong Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

It is an express line connecting the east and west Panyu. With only four stations, the most important station of the line is Guangzhou South Railway Station. The maximum speed is 160 km/h, one-way trip lasts for 14 minutes and a driving interval is about 7m30s.

When the construction of the whole Line 22 completes, it will link Nansha in the south and Baiyun Airport in the north. It will take only 30 minutes from Guangzhou city center to Baiyun Airport, and 45 minutes from Nansha District to Baiyun Airport. Come follow us to experience this fast metro!
